Are you looking to take your work to the next level and showcase it in our gallery, and to the world as an NFT? We're here to help you. During the ARTWALK weekend, you can visit ARTSEE NFT Gallery and we'll turn your artwork into NFT's for you. Want to learn more about what an NFT is and how it works? Come and say hello.
Why create an NFT for your art?
NFT art is new and accessible way for artists and creatives to monetize their work, especially for digital artwork. Each NFT is unique, it sits on the blockchain and cannot be modified or changed. NFT's are not limited to digital artwork. An NFT can be a collectible, or a digital copy of real art. The market growing at a staggering pace, with NFT trading jumping from ~$95 Million in 2020 to ~$25 Billion in 2021.
Frequently asked questions
An NFT is a Non-fungible token. Right, sorry. “Non-fungible” more or less means that it’s unique and can’t be replaced with something else. For example, a bitcoin is fungible — trade one for another bitcoin, and you’ll have exactly the same thing. A one-of-a-kind trading card, however, is non-fungible. If you traded it for a different card, you’d have something completely different. (source: the Verge)
They can be, but aren’t necessarily art. An NFT may be created as a digital version of a real piece of art, or a digital artwork it its own right. Other NFT’s may be collectibles, akin to Pokemon cards for example.
